Job Description:
The Finance, Analytics & Business Strategy Intern will support financial modeling, analytical structuring, and operational execution across business lines. The role includes direct involvement in planning, budgeting, and performance measurement of the Arqaam Investment Conference and related capital markets initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:

Develop structured financial models for conference budgeting, sponsorship structuring, and revenue analysis.

Support cost tracking, variance analysis, and ROI measurement across departments.

Assist Corporate Brokerage teams with analytics related to trading volumes, liquidity support initiatives, and investor participation flows.

Contribute to analytical research of publicly listed companies operating in regional markets.

Prepare performance dashboards for Executive Office review.

Conduct structured analysis of a MENA-based startup that has raised USD 50 million over the past two years, including business model review, funding structure, valuation logic, unit economics, risk assessment, and potential exit pathways.

Requirements:

Demonstrated interest in capital markets, financial modeling, and institutional finance.

Strong financial modeling and analytical skills, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis.

Proficiency in Excel (advanced functions required); familiarity with financial modeling and dashboard tools is a plus.
