    Job Description:

    We’re hiring an HR professional to recruit, screen, and onboard high-quality university student tutors for Unitors. This role is focused on end-to-end tutor hiring: sourcing, interviews, documentation, onboarding, and maintaining an organized recruitment pipeline. Experience hiring young talent is a strong plus.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Tutor Recruitment (Core)
    • Source tutor applicants via LinkedIn, university groups, referrals, job portals, and partnerships.
    • Screen applications and shortlist tutors based on Unitors standards (subjects, availability, location, communication, attitude).
    • Conduct initial HR screening calls and schedule interviews with the hiring team.
    • Coordinate demo lessons / trial processes where applicable.

    Onboarding & Documentation

    • Collect and verify tutor documents (ID, visa status, student enrollment proof, certificates, etc.).
    • Ensure tutors complete onboarding steps: profile setup, policies, expectations, and communication guidelines.
    • Maintain accurate tutor records in the company tracker/CRM.

    Hiring Operations

    • Manage the recruitment pipeline and ensure fast turnaround time.
    • Track key hiring metrics (applications, pass rates, time-to-hire, active tutors, subject coverage).
    • Build and improve standard operating procedures (SOPs) for tutor hiring and onboarding.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree (HR, Business, Psychology, Education, or related field preferred)

    • Required Experience: 1 to 2 years of experience in Human resources and Hiring

    • Fast execution, strong follow-up discipline, and attention to detail.

    • Good judgment in people evaluation (professionalism, reliability, communication).

    • Empathetic but firm — can set standards while being respectful.

    • Process-oriented: loves checklists, systems, and clean operations.

    • Nice to Have
      1. Experience hiring in education, tutoring, internships, or youth programs.
      2. Experience working with university communities in UAE.
      3. Familiarity with WhatsApp-based recruiting and scheduling coordination.
