Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic, data-savvy and proactive Intern to support the planning and execution of our Trade Marketing initiatives across MENA. The role requires extensive data analytics and insight generation which would need to be translated into practically actionable deliverables for the GCC Sales teams across countries. This internship will strive to enhance the individual’s capability in terms of decoding Nielsen / Customer point of sale (PoS) data to cull out action plans for growth, share gain and driving execution excellence through efficiency levers. It will also involve working closely with the Brand teams to plan and execute the In-store calendar, maintain a robust innovation tracker and dashboard it for swift actions, thus enriching the understanding of the end-to-end innovation process.
The role will also require the individual to collaborate extensively with Sales teams, Brand Marketing teams and in some cases external solution providers as may be required.
Primary markets include the GCC and Iraq followed by secondary markets like North Africa, Jordan, Southeast Asia, and the CIS regions.
Key Responsibilities:

Data Analytics
Support in analyzing various data sources (Nielsen, Clicflyer, Customer PoS data) for actionable insights to be captured in presentable formats for circulation and action planning by various stakeholders

In-store execution planning & execution tracking
Coordinate with brand & activations team to chart out and ensure execution of the in-store branding project/planogramming
Coordinate with, understand and own the execution compliance dashboard shared by the external audit agency

Innovation project tracking
Coordinate in collating and tracking progress against plan for innovation initiatives working closely with Sales, Marketing and Finance teams

Automation & Simplification Initiatives
Work on simplifying trade marketing claim verification processes by creating relevant master templates to reduce claim verification TAT
