    Job Description:

    The Assistant Accountant will play a key role in supporting our financial operations, ensuring accurate record-keeping, Invoice and expense entry and assisting in the preparation of financial reports.


    Key Responsibilities:

    • Manage daily accounting tasks, including financial data entry and maintaining accurate records.

    • Handle customer invoicing and ensure proper allocation of payments.

    • Perform bank reconciliations and ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded.

    • Reconcile customer payments for bookings, reservations, and service fees, ensuring accurate allocation of funds.

    • Manage accounts payable and receivable, and allocation of payments and collections.

    • Report and process refunds and cancellations, ensuring compliance with company policies and customer service standards.

    • Manage petty cash transactions, ensuring accurate recording and reconciliation.

    • Assist with VAT calculations and compliance with relevant tax regulations.

    • Support month-end and year-end closing procedures.

    • Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.

    Requirements:

    • 2-3 years of experience in accounting, preferably within the travel, tourism, or service industry.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
    • Well-versed in accounting fundamentals and proficient in GL Accounting.
    • Experience in financial data entry and accounting tasks.
    • Proficiency in MS Excel, accounting and M.I.S software.
    • Strong analytical, organizational, and problem solving skills.
    • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
    • Excellent in Interpersonal communication.
