Job Description:
The Assistant Accountant will play a key role in supporting our financial operations, ensuring accurate record-keeping, Invoice and expense entry and assisting in the preparation of financial reports.
Key Responsibilities:

Manage daily accounting tasks, including financial data entry and maintaining accurate records.

Handle customer invoicing and ensure proper allocation of payments.

Perform bank reconciliations and ensure all financial transactions are properly recorded.

Reconcile customer payments for bookings, reservations, and service fees, ensuring accurate allocation of funds.

Manage accounts payable and receivable, and allocation of payments and collections.

Report and process refunds and cancellations, ensuring compliance with company policies and customer service standards.

Manage petty cash transactions, ensuring accurate recording and reconciliation.

Assist with VAT calculations and compliance with relevant tax regulations.

Support month-end and year-end closing procedures.

Ensure compliance with company policies and financial regulations.

Requirements:
- 2-3 years of experience in accounting, preferably within the travel, tourism, or service industry.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Well-versed in accounting fundamentals and proficient in GL Accounting.
- Experience in financial data entry and accounting tasks.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, accounting and M.I.S software.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem solving skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Excellent in Interpersonal communication.
