Job Description:
We are looking for a proactive and strategic Business Development Intern. This role is perfect for students or recent graduates with a background in healthcare who are eager to enter the field of business development. You will be instrumental in discovering new business prospects, cultivating relationships with wellness and healthcare facilities, and boosting revenue through targeted outreach and sales strategies.
Key Responsibilities:
Client Relationship Management & Lead Generation:
- Identify and research potential clients like clinics and wellness centers.
- Build and maintain relationships with prospects via email, phone, and meetings.
- Assist in managing customer leads looking for our services.
- Keep detailed records of client interactions using CRM systems and Excel.
- Analyze client feedback and data to identify service improvement opportunities, enhancing overall client satisfaction and outcomes.
- Drive client retention and loyalty by building long-term, trust-based relationships.
Sales & Outreach Strategy:
- Develop and implement outreach strategies for healthcare and wellness centers.
- Create persuasive sales materials tailored to client needs.
- Conduct needs assessments to understand client challenges and propose Verve Wellness solutions.
Market Research & Business Development Strategy:
- Research emerging trends in the regional wellness and healthcare sectors.
- Analyze competitor offerings and market dynamics.
- Support growth strategies to expand our client base
Presentations & Proposal Support:
- Assist in creating professional presentations and proposals.
- Prepare product demonstrations and client presentations.
Administrative & Analytical Support:
- Maintain accurate data in Excel and CRM systems (including Helix).
- Generate reports on business development activities and sales metrics.
- Support client onboarding processes.
Collaboration & Learning:
- Work closely with sales and business development teams.
- Participate in training and industry events to gain leads.
- Contribute ideas to enhance sales processes and client engagement.
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in Healthcare.
- Demonstrated interest in business development within the healthcare or wellness sectors.
- Strong understanding of regional healthcare norms and the wellness industry.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and familiarity with CRM systems like Helix.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English; Arabic proficiency is a plus.
- Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities.
