Minimum Qualification: Bachelor’s degree in Law or a minimum of 2 years experience as an Admin or Legal Assistant in a law firm
Job Description:
- Provide administrative support to lawyers and legal professionals.
- Maintaining and organizing files, conducting legal research, and drafting documents.
- Manage and organize legal documents, correspondence, and client files.
- Assist in scheduling appointments, meetings, and court dates.
- Handle incoming calls, emails, and other communications in a professional manner.
- Coordinate travel arrangements and accommodations for legal team members.
- Prepare and format legal documents, including letters, memos, and court forms.
- Maintain and update the firm's database and filing systems.
- Handle basic accounting tasks, such as invoicing and expense tracking.
- Assist in the preparation of reports and presentations.
- Perform general office duties, including photocopying, scanning, and filing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion
- Detail-oriented and proactive with a positive attitude
- Knowledge of legal terminology and processes is an advantage
- Physical presence required
