    Commencement Date: ASAP

    Duration of Placement: 6 - 9 months

    Role Timings: 8 AM - 5 PM

    Renumeration: AED 1,500 per month, Medical Insurance, Shared Accommodation (optional, but if declined, lateness or distance cannot be used as an excuse) and visa support

    Language: English

    Minimum Qualification: Bachelor's Degree or Master’s Degree in Legal with interest/knowledge of Virual Assets and working with enforcement agencies. 

     

    Job Description:

    The intern will gain hands-on experience in Licensing & Supervision processes, collaborating closely with the team to identify areas for improvement. They will leverage technology transformation to enhance efficiency and streamline operations in the VARA department.

    • Support ongoing investigations and outcomes, recommend enforcement actions, build database repository of enforcement related measures taken

    • Support grievances, preparation of grievance packs and recommendations; preparation of legal briefs for litigation matters 

    • Support complaints handling, and documenting of complaints and enforcement actions to enable better statistics and management information 

    • Support drafting, negotiating, and advising on relevant enforcement related notices/correspondence.

    Requirements:

    • Forensic Skills

    • Previous experience with Legal Drafting and Legal Advisory

    • Exposure/ Knowledge of Regulatory Environment, Virtual Assets Enforcement, forensic organisations & practices as well as Legal proceedings in the financial sector.

    • Ability to draft well (primarily English)

    • Organizational skills
