Job Description:
Objective: To assess the market potential and consumer behaviour for Frozen Ready-to-Cook (RTC) products in the UAE and recommend a Go-To-Market (GTM) strategy for iD Fresh's existing and potential product pipeline in the frozen category(focussed on Frozen Snacks)
Scope of Work:
- Consumer Insights: Conduct in-home interviews across nationalities/income groups to understand usage patterns, purchase triggers, and barriers for frozen RTC.
- White Space Mapping: Identify unmet needs in frozen RTC beyond current iD offerings like parotta.
- Retail Assessment: Study MT and GT stores for brand presence, pricing, visibility, competition, and cold chain readiness.
- Competitive Benchmarking: Analyze top competitors on pricing, pack formats, positioning, and recent launches.
- GTM Strategy: Build channel-specific recommendations for pricing, formats, promotions, and trial generation.
- Product Ideation: Propose 1–2 new frozen RTC products based on insights and validate through consumer feedback.
Deliverables:
- Research summary report (consumer, retail, competition)
- GTM plan with actionable recommendations
- 1–2 product concept notes for potential future launches
- Final presentation to category and sales leadership
Requirements: Bachelor's Degree and/or experience in a relevant field
